NILALEG (Namibia Integrated Landscape Approach for Enhancing Livelihoods and Environmental Governance) is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at promoting sustainable land management and biodiversity conservation across Namibia. By integrating environmental governance with local community development, NILALEG supports the restoration of ecosystems while improving livelihoods and resilience to climate change in rural areas.

The NILALEG Project is implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme and funded by the Global Environmental Facility.
