Between a rock and a hard place

Hidden among large granite boulders and mopane trees, Hoada Campsite offers travellers a serene home in the wilderness. The area is rich in a variety of animal species, and offers spectacular views. This sensational landscape is a natural habitat of Namibia’s uniquely adapted desert elephant. We offer eight campsites and four tented units for the glampers out there. At night, uncountable stars offer a spectacular sight. The campsite was designed to be as eco-friendly as possible. The hot water system works in combination with the braai (BBQ) area to warm the water for your shower as you prepare your food. Light and sound pollution is virtually non-existent due to the absence of electric light and power points. The Hoada Campsite is situated 25 km east of Grootberg Lodge or 75 km on the C40 west from Kamanjab, in the #Khoadi //Hoas Conservancy, Damaraland.
