Shipwreck Lodge is located between the Hoarusib and Hoanib Rivers in the Skeleton Coast Park, only 45 km north of Möwe Bay. The lodge is nestled between the dunes with a view of the Atlantic Ocean. There are day excursions by vehicle to the Möwe Bay seal colony. Guests will see the remnants of the Suiderkus Shipwreck, the remains of the Karimona Shipwreck and the Ventura Bomber and the abandoned Westies Diamond Mine. A sundowner drive will take you to the roaring dunes. Take a 4x4 trip to the clay castles, a natural geological formation. Guests can enjoy lunch on the beach. Other activities on offer are dune boarding and quad biking guided trails.
